You can protect your Vivid Money account from fraud by following these tips:
Never share with anybody (including Vivid employees): codes from SMS or push notifications, card details (except during online shopping), account login and passwords (from Vivid and the email linked to it).
Never share your devices.
Create a strong and unique password that contains at least eight characters.
Mix things up a little - use a combination of numbers, special characters, lowercase and uppercase letters. The quirkier, the better! (Never write it down)
Use biometric authentication (fingerprint or face ID) or a PIN code to log into your account.
Monitor your account and spread your money across different pockets wisely.
To keep a large sum of money safe, we recommend setting up a separate pocket. If possible, don’t link any cards, or make any payment transactions using this pocket (money transfers, purchases, ATM withdrawals). Lastly, don’t share this pocket’s IBAN with anyone, and if you do, monitor the transactions in your account. If you receive a direct debit, you can always return it during time limits.
Set up a monthly limit for your card transactions.
Allow Vivid Money to send you push notifications.
Stay up to date on all your latest transactions.
Pay attention to the official communications sent by email.
All our email addresses include the domain @vivid.money
Contact us via chat or via email, if we need to reach out to you, we’ll use these channels too. We’ll never call you via phone for any reason.
The only SMS that we send are codes to log in. We’ll never request additional information via SMS. If you received a suspicious SMS with a link, read this FAQ.
We have only one official website, www.vivid.money, where you can also find information about our products and the link of all our official social media channels.
The only way to log in into your account is with your Vivid app. If a website asks you for your credentials to log in your Vivid account, it’s not trustworthy.
