V-Points are a new way to receive cashback rewards. 1 V-Point is equivalent to €1. They sit as a monetary cashback balance in your Stock Rewards Pocket and can be redeemed into your Money pocket.
Where do I find my V-Points?
In your Vivid app, in your Stock Rewards Pocket. There you will see your balance, the cashback offers available to you, and a Redeem button.
How do I earn V-Points?
Exactly the same way you earn cashback today: by making qualifying card purchases in your selected cashback categories, and through any special offers available to you. The rules for earning cashback, the categories and the monthly limits have not changed.
If you have a business account, you can also earn V-Points through specific cashback promotions that reward both your Business and Personal accounts.
How much is a V-Point worth? Can its value go down?
One V-Point is always worth EUR 1. The value does not move with share prices or any market, so the amount you see in V-points is the amount you get in Euro.
How do I get the money?
Tap Redeem in your Stock Rewards pocket. The full balance is transferred to your main pocket, and your Cashback balance returns to zero. Once redeemed, you can spend it like any other money in your account. I used to receive my rewards as shares. What is different now?
With the previous Stock Rewards mechanic, you chose a company, your cashback bought a small fraction of that share, and the value moved with the share price. With V-Points, there is no company to choose from, no portfolio, and no gain or fluctuation. Your cashback simply sits in your Stock Rewards pocket until you redeem it to Euros.
Can I choose V-Points instead of a share?
If you already receive your rewards as share value equivalent, you can switch to V-Points from the reward selection screen in your Cashback pocket. Please note: switching to V-Points is permanent. Once you confirm, you cannot go back to receiving your rewards as shares.
I never saw the option to choose a share. Why?
If you opened your account recently, V-Points is the standard way your cashback is paid out, so there is no share selection step. Nothing is missing from your account.
