Rewards are a key feature of the Crypto Earn Pocket, offering you the opportunity to earn returns from staking your crypto. Here’s everything you need to know about how rewards are calculated and paid out:
How are rewards calculated?
Rewards are calculated daily, based on the amount of staked crypto in your Crypto Earn Pocket and the lowest balance of the relevant crypto asset throughout the day. This ensures that your rewards reflect the actual amount of crypto you’ve held during the day.
Daily calculation: Each day, we calculate the rewards for your staked crypto based on the current staking protocol and the amount of crypto you hold. If you stake an asset today, rewards for that asset will start being calculated from tomorrow.
APY impact: The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) displayed in the app is used to estimate the rewards over a year. However, this may fluctuate, as it’s based on the blockchain protocol’s performance, network conditions, and other external factors over time.
Total staked amount: The more crypto you stake, the higher your rewards will be, assuming the APY remains the same.
When are rewards paid out?
Rewards are credited weekly to your Crypto Earn Pocket in the form of the staked crypto asset.
Payment frequency: Rewards are distributed once a week, on Monday before the end of day.
Re-staking: Rewards you earn will be automatically re-staked to help you grow your assets further.
How are rewards paid?
Rewards will be credited in the same crypto asset that you have staked. For example, if you stake Ethereum (ETH) coins, your rewards will be paid in ETH as well.
The rewards are calculated and displayed in the crypto asset itself. For your convenience, the equivalent value in euros will also be shown in the Vivid app, using the current market rate.
Can I withdraw my rewards?
Yes, you can withdraw your rewards at any time. You can choose to leave them staked or sell them at current market price and transfer the equivalent amount in euros to your Money Pocket for further use.
